About Dr. Eric L. Davis

Dr. Eric L. Davis

"For me, being a therapist is a calling. I am truly passionate about what I do."

About Me

I focus on many issues affecting the well-being of my clients, including substance abuse and addiction, problem gambling, psychological and emotional issues, social and family relationships, personal and professional goals, wellness, spirituality, and coping with trauma and life stressors. I am here to help, and I am here to listen. Though I can assist you with various issues, my specialty is treating substance use disorder and problem gambling.

Believe me when I tell you I'm no stranger to addiction or recovery. I am a person in long-term recovery myself, the child of an alcoholic, have been teaching addiction courses at local universities for over a decade, and have been treating addiction professionally as a therapist for nearly 25 years.

I provide therapy from a holistic perspective, noting the importance of integrally addressing the mind, body, and spirit in a successful recovery program. I offer specialized services designed to assist you in not only getting started with a recovery program but also in developing and maintaining an ongoing recovery plan and healthy lifestyle.

If you are hurting right now, please pick up the phone and call me for a free confidential consultation today. Addiction is an "equal opportunity destroyer," it destroys our relationships, jobs, freedom, finances, hopes and dreams, etc... but no one has to fight it alone. Let me help you begin to heal. I am here and ready to help you regain control of your life.

Dr. Eric L. Davis co-founded Life Recovery Center in 2004, where he currently serves as Executive Director. He is also available for individual therapy sessions by appointment.
