About Me

Eric L. Davis, DSW, PhD, LCSW, LCAC

"For me, being a therapist is a calling. I truly love what I do."

Believe me when I tell you that I'm no stranger to addiction or recovery. As someone in long-term recovery and the child of an alcoholic, I bring lived experience to my professional work. I have been treating addiction professionally as a therapist for more than 25 years, and teaching addiction courses at local universities for over a decade.

I address a wide range of issues that impact my clients' well-being, including substance use and addiction, problem gambling, emotional challenges, family and social relationships, personal and professional goals, wellness, spirituality, and coping with trauma and stress. While I provide support for a variety of concerns, my expertise lies in treating substance use disorders, problem gambling, and abusive behaviors.

My therapeutic approach is holistic, addressing the interconnected needs of the mind, body, and spirit for lasting recovery. I offer tailored services to help you begin your recovery journey and establish a sustainable plan for a healthier, more fulfilling life.

If you are hurting right now, please pick up the phone and call me for a free, confidential consultation today. Addiction is an "equal opportunity destroyer," having devastating effects on our self-esteem, relationships, careers, finances, and opportunities, but no one has to face it alone. I’m here to help you begin your healing journey and regain control of your life. Let's work together to build a brighter future for you!
